Synergy Blue announced it’s signed a distribution agreement with Canadian gaming supplier Bet Rite and will showcase its skill-influenced slots at ICE London as it looks to expand its presence in Europe in 2020.
The agreement expands Las Vegas-based Synergy Blue’s reach to all Canadian markets where Bet Rite will provide sales distribution and localized support for the company’s Hybrid Arcade Wager-based Gaming platform and its library of arcade-style casino games.
“As we continue to expand skill-influenced, arcade-style gaming to new audiences, familiarity with local markets is critical,” said Synergy Blue CEO Georg Washington. “With Bet Rite’s expertise, we see the Canadian market as one that is full of long-term potential. We’re excited to be in that market and offer them new experiences with skill-influenced gaming.”
Synergy Blue’s gambling games, which reflect styles from popular arcade and mobile games, are designed to attract a growing number of non-traditional gamblers, Washington said. The games add a new type of offering to casinos and marketing opportunity in Canada, he said.
“Synergy Blue’s HAWG platform and gambling solutions are very unique and present an exciting new avenue for Canadian gamblers, especially the younger generations who are more familiar with mobile and arcade-style gaming,” said Bet Rite President Billy MacLellan. “We’re very excited for this distribution agreement and to bring a full and robust selection of skill-influenced games to Canada.”
Washington said their games will likely be rolled out in British Columbia and Ontario first in 2020.
It’s been a strong stretch for Synergy Blue since it received its Nevada gaming license in March and relocated to Las Vegas from Southern California last summer. It has made several announcements.
Since the Global Gaming Expo, Synergy Blue launched trials in three Las Vegas casinos — The Linq, Palms Casino Resort and Red Rock Resort & Spa.
“Those trials are moving along and the properties are happy,” Washington said. “It’s given us some valuable feedback.”
Synergy Blue has a deal with Dynamic Gaming Solutions to put its games in Oklahoma tribal casinos in 2020. It also signed a deal with Jade Entertainment Solutions to provide sales distribution and localized support to the Asian-Pacific markets in 2020.
The company founded in 2013 has products and applications placed in six countries.
Synergy Blue will showcase its numerous developments at ICE London and continue that momentum, Washington said. The company has been nominated for a Golden Dice Award for being a Game Changer: Bringing fun to casinos that will be given by European Casinos The Elite magazine and announced at ICE London.
Synergy Blue will be making announcements in the near future about placement of its first skill-influenced games in Europe, Washington said. It has chance-based games in Europe now.
“Europe has a great potential not only for the casinos but for the jurisdictions that have bar locations which is going to be fantastic as well,” Washington said. “The overall industry in Europe is different in many ways when you look at online gaming and expectations of being interactive that are complementary to our style of games. I’m excited about the European market.”
In 2019, Washington said Synergy Blue progressed its technology development with refined game play and an enhanced math library that provides benefits to both players and operators. They expanded their game library that includes a variety of game play ranging from casual to arcade, he said.
“We’re very happy with all the progress we made in 2019 and are excited to continue that momentum at ICE London,” Washington said. “With our Nevada license approved and games going through trials in Las
Vegas, it’s a really exciting time for our company, as well as the Industry. Our recent distribution agreements will provide gamblers worldwide the opportunity to experience our fun, skill-influenced games. We can’t wait to see how players react and how the industry continues to evolve in 2020.”
The company’s latest additions include Joyride Jackpot, a realistic racing game played on arcade driving hardware, as well as a cowboy/alien themed arcade shooter titled Lucked & Loaded, where players progress through numerous levels while saving the world, Washington said.
Its titles include classic gambling games like video poker to Candy Ca$h, Mahjong, and the award-nominated Safari Match. The company has both skill-influenced and chance-based versions of numerous games, as well as Class II options for Native American markets.
In October 2018, it signed a distribution agreement with Florida-based casino vendor Reel Gaming to provide its games and hardware to Florida, the Caribbean and cruise ship industries based out of Fort Lauderdale, Miami and the Bahamas.
