Betty CEO Justin Park spoke to CDC Gaming Reports a few weeks ago about the company’s hyper-focus on a growing Ontario online-casino market and that knowledge and expertise about Ontario clearly caught Stakelogic’s eye.

“Our brand-new platform built on real-time data,” Park told us a few weeks back, “is custom-built for the Ontario market from a regulatory-compliance perspective. I don’t think another operator can say that. Additionally, we look at onboarding. What are the most popular games in Ontario? Because this is the only market we’re in.”

Stakelogic, based in the Netherlands, is in the online slot and live-casino-game development business and today announced a strategic partnership with Betty.

“We are delighted to be one of the first Ontario operators to launch Stakelogic’s innovative jackpot games,” Deyan Valtchev, Betty’s Head of LiveOps, told CDC Gaming Reports this morning. “The Spin-To-Win jackpot system, at the intersection of slots and live game shows, is a unique proposition and we are confident that it will be warmly received by our players.”

Betty’s focus on gaming experience and its understanding of the Ontario market were the prominent selling points for Stakelogic, as they endeavor to ramp up their presence in Canada’s most populous province.

According to their website, Stakelogic has over 250 slot games and is in 20 markets. In an interview posted on the company website, Stakelogic CEO Stephan van den Oetelaar said that in the future, the boundaries between slots and live casino will be more and more blurred or even disappear.

“We’re taking this to the next stage, where we combine slots and live,” he said. “I think in the upcoming years, you’ll have more and more community elements; you’ll be playing games with a lot of other people.”
