Speakers set for National Council of Legislators from Gaming States winter meeting

The National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) Thursday released a list of speakers scheduled for its winter meeting taking place Jan. 3-5 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The roster of speakers, featuring gaming professionals and elected officials, includes DraftKings Senior Director for Horse Racing Chris Cipolla, Light & Wonder Global Head of Government Affairs and Legislative Counsel Howard Glaser, and Martin Lycka, Entain SVP for American Regulatory Affairs and Responsible Gambling.

The NCLGS winter meeting marks a milestone for the organization, with 25 states attaining full member status. The newest additions are Rhode Island and New Hampshire.

The NCLGS, founded 25 years ago, is the only organization of state lawmakers that regularly meets to discuss issues related to gaming. The organization neither promotes nor opposes gaming, but focuses on proper regulation and promoting best practices in the governance.
