Deadwood casinos generated $11.1 million in November, up 12.9% from $9.8 million in November 2024. Slot revenue rose 9.5% year-over-year from $8.8 million to $9.6 million, and table games saw revenue increase 40.9% from $1.1 million to $1.5 million.

The latest report from the South Dakota Gaming Commission, which categorizes revenue by game type, showed that for slots, the most significant revenue increase was experienced by $5 slots, which saw revenue rise 85.8% year-over-year from $87,458 to $162,498. One-dollar slots saw gains of 76.5%, rising from $420,117 to $741,455.

One-cent slots, which generated the highest revenue in the state at just less than $8 million, were the only game type to see a revenue change in the single digits, rising 5.3% from $7.6 million the previous year.

Other slot types experienced significant losses, including 10-cent slots, which saw revenue decline 84.2% from $20,941 to $3,309, and 5-cent slots, which saw revenue drop 72.6% from $86,316 to $23,648.

For table games, blackjack saw the most significant revenue increase, rising 54.3% from $425,112 to $655,834, with house-banked poker seeing gains of 53.7% from $347,251 to $533,878.

Roulette and player-banked poker revenue declined by 37.8% and 10.8%, respectively.
