Sports Information Services, a live-betting content and services provider, has announced an extension of its distribution agreement with global sports technology provider Genius Sports that will allow SIS to extend its U.S. presence in the esports market by distributing its Head-to-Head Global Gaming League titles through Genius Sports’ network of U.S. sportsbook customers.

A SIS statement said the extended agreement will make its sports simulation product available to sportsbook users in New Jersey, Colorado and Kentucky.

SIS esports products are built in the company’s studios in the United Kingdom, with its flagship products including esoccer and ebasketball contests between gamers at various levels, including professional esports athletes. The company is accredited by the esports Integrity Commission, providing accredited, trained referees to oversee every competition.

“Our sports sims titles continue to gain traction in the states that we are currently operating,” Michele Fischer, a SIS Content Services vice president, said. “Strengthening our partnership with Genius Sports supports our U.S. strategy for widespread distribution of our esports products across all states. Our esoccer and ebasketball products have a clear track record of adding significant value to the bottom line of operators and we are sure US-focused brands will benefit greatly from having our content within their portfolios.”

“SIS’ Competitive Gaming product is a compelling product that is already resonating with operators and players in the U.S.,” Matt Stephenson, Genius Sports director of global partnerships, said. “We have been delighted to integrate such an innovative product into our offering, and by providing this margin-increasing content to our U.S. partners, we are continuing to deliver the widest array of wagering opportunities.”

SIS products debuted in the United States in New Jersey in 2022 through a partnership with bet365. It then extended its partnership with bet365 and signed a deal with Betsafe to expand into Colorado. In January, SIS signed an agreement with software provider Playtech to supply its esports betting product on Playtech’s online and retail platforms.
