SiGMA North America to be September 1-3 in Mexico City

Wednesday, July 29, 2026 10:13 AM

SiGMA North America 2026 will hold its first Mexico summit at Centro Banamex in Mexico City, September 1-3. The event will unite gaming and technology professionals from across North and Latin America.

Organizers expect 4,000 delegates, 1,000 operators, more than 150 speakers, and more than 200 exhibitors and sponsors to attend. The summit features three days of conference sessions, expo meetings, startup showcases, awards, networking, and post-summit affiliate events in one of the region’s most important capitals.

SiGMA North America is a counterpart to BiS SiGMA South America in Brazil. The Brazil event draws companies from across the region, and Mexico City gives SiGMA a second meeting point in the Americas with a stronger focus on North America and the wider Spanish-speaking market. With five months between them, the summits give delegates the chance to network within both regions.

Horizon Databook estimates that Mexico’s online gambling market could grow to $3.6 billion by 2033. The online casino segment is expected to nearly double, from $441.5 million in 2024 to $943.7 million by 2030. According to DGJS data cited by SiGMA News, there are more than 350 licensed land-based casinos and more than 30 digital operators with SEGOB licenses under the “.mx” domain.

Over two days, delegates can attend product demos, meet suppliers, talk with operators, connect with affiliates, and view technology showcases. More than 200 exhibitors and sponsors are expected. Delegates also will have access to a VIP Lounge for meetings and networking, as well as a food court with various dining options.

The conference program addresses the key questions driving iGaming growth between North and Latin America.

Day 1 begins with “The Role of Global Operators in Mexico’s iGaming Market.” The panel includes ARRISE Vice President Victor Arias; Cristhian Gomez Villa, Managing Director of Emerging Markets at Betsson; and Germán Sarmiento, Country Manager at Betcris. The session will explore how international operators enter Mexico, bringing global brands, technology, and acquisition strategies, while also adjusting to local players and handling compliance issues.

Also on Day 1, “Regulatory Escape Room – North America Decoded: A Survival Guide to U.S. & Canadian iGaming Markets” is scheduled. The interactive session is for LATAM operators looking to expand into the United States and Canada, where complex laws and strict compliance requirements make growth challenging.

“Predictive Play: The Future of AI Personalization” will take place on Day 1. Optimove Head of Expansion for LATAM Mauricio Soto and Javier Troncoso, Co-Founder and CEO of InsightPlay.ai will discuss real-time personalization, AI-driven recommendations, and the regulatory limits on these tools.

On Day 2, “Affiliate Marketing in 2027: AI, Data & Personalization” will feature Fernanda Figueroa, 1win Partners Head of Affiliates and Tier 3 Strategy, will give a keynote on predictive modeling, dynamic segmentation, and automated optimization.

Day 2 also includes a session on Mexico’s unique risks: “The Identity Battle in Mexico: Growth, Fraud and KYC in a Market of 8 Million Players.” The panel will cover fast onboarding, stronger fraud controls, AML requirements, and deepfakes in the growing online gambling market.

The SiGMA North America Awards take place September 1. This gala celebrates innovators and companies in igaming, bringing together finalists, sponsors, senior executives, and guests on the summit’s opening day. As a flagship evening event, the awards offer a premium networking opportunity before the main conference begins.

From September 1-3 at Centro Banamex, delegates can take part in many networking opportunities beyond scheduled meetings and sessions. The program includes networking drinks at the VIP Lounge for Platinum ticket holders and the SiGMA Official Party, an opportunity to connect in a relaxed setting and build new relationships.

On September 3, SiGMA Pitch North America will be at Centro Banamex. Six top startups will present live on stage to investors, venture capitalists, and industry leaders. The competition delivers valuable feedback and the opportunity to secure funding or cooperative agreements.

From September 4-6, SiGMA Group will host the Affiliate Retreat in Cancun, offering an exclusive post-summit experience for the affiliate community.

The retreat is designed for 50 top affiliates and offers a VIP experience that starts with a private jet from Mexico City to Cancun. The package includes a two-night stay at a luxury resort, Michelin-starred dining, beachfront welcome drinks, adventure activities, swimming in a cenote, ziplining, ATV rides, a club night, and a catamaran tour to Isla Mujeres.
