OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Scientific Games Corporation has signed a contract with the Oklahoma Lottery to provide a variety of lottery systems and services.
The contract was announced Tuesday by officials from the lottery and the global gaming company. The company says it will provide terminals and statewide communications, instant ticket printing, warehousing and distribution and technical and sales staff.
The contract begins on Aug. 9. It has an initial term of one year but includes options for nine additional one-year contract extensions.
Last year, the Oklahoma Lottery generated $208 million in retail sales and returned $73 million to public education in the state. Rollo Redburn, the lottery’s executive director, says the Scientific Games contract will help the lottery continue to grow revenues and become more efficient to provide more money for Oklahoma education.
