SBC Thursday announced that the 27th annual Canadian Gaming Summit will return to the Metro Toronto Convention Center June 18-20.
The event is a collaboration between the Canadian Gaming Association and SBC. SBC bought the conference in 2022.
“As the most comprehensive industry event in the region, the Canadian Gaming Summit isn’t just about delivering exceptional educational content; it’s also about diving into the latest innovations, engaging with prominent regional brands, and seizing countless networking chances,” said SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark in a statement.
The summit will host 3,000 delegates from affiliates, suppliers, sports teams, Canadian corporations, First Nation representatives, lotteries, bingo operators, and providers, as well as representatives from more than 600 operators.
“Our first year organizing the Canadian Gaming Summit (2023) underscored the abundance of opportunities and excitement surrounding this flourishing market,” Sojmark said. “Given the dynamic landscape of the Canadian market, there is much room for exploration, making this event essential for anyone seeking operations in Canada.”
The exhibition floor will feature 75 global and regional brands, showcasing the latest technology and game releases, and service providers. Exhibiting brands include Altenar, Arrow Games, BetConstruct, Continent 8, Everi, Gigadat, Kinectify, Optimove, Paramount Commerce, Payper, Paysafe, Smartsoft Gaming, and Soft2Bet.
The Canadian Gaming Summit will also feature a two-day agenda of more than 150 speakers specializing in the Canadian market. Discussions on key industry talking points are scheduled, including cross-border collaborations, innovations in live betting, affiliate partnerships, future trends in sports betting, and the strategies for successful entry into Canadian markets.
Speakers schedule to appear at the conference include Canadian Gaming Association CEO Paul Burns; Troy Ross, TRM Public Affairs President; Great Canadian Gaming Corporation Executive Vice President, Stakeholder Relations, Chuck Keeling; PointsBet SVP Marketing Dave Rivers: Scott Vanderwel, the CEO of PointsBet Canada; Rhino Entertainment Head of Canada Roxana Zaharia; Steve Lautischer, EVP for the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission; and Brock University Associate Professor Dr. Mike Naraine.
A Player Protection Symposium will precede the event on June 18. The focused pre-day conference provides delegates with interest in player-safety opportunities to discuss innovative player protection, compliance, and leadership strategies during six expert-led panels. Attendees who want to attend this limited-capacity C-level conference are required to purchase a full-event ticket.
