Dan Taylor, CEO of Flutter International, will take centerstage as he delivers the opening keynote titled, “Co-Creating The Flutter Edge: Insights From Flutter’s International CEO,” setting the tone for the leader’s conference track at this year’s SBC Summit Barcelona.
With a career focused on building brands for Flutter Entertainment, Taylor will reflect on his journey, sharing his insights and vision with the event attendees.
During the keynote, Taylor will delve into the intricacies of the Flutter Edge, shedding light on how his division’s local brands gain a competitive advantage by harnessing the company’s resources, talent, and global reach. Additionally, as Flutter expands its presence into new territories, such as Italy, India, and Brazil, Taylor will walk the audience through the opportunities and challenges of establishing and growing brands in emerging
markets.

After obtaining his MA in Economics from Cambridge University, Taylor embarked on his professional journey in 2001, joining the consultancy firm OC&C. He dedicated eight years to the company before transitioning to DMG Media, where he served as Group Strategy Director for three years. Taylor’s leadership qualities did not go unnoticed, and after his time at DMG, he was appointed CEO of Teletext Holidays.
In March 2015, Taylor was approached by former CEO of Paddy Power, Andy McCue, to assume the role of Managing Director of Retail, which he held for two years. Following a brief stint as Managing Director for the UK & Ireland, Taylor was appointed CEO of Paddy Power Betfair Europe. In 2019, he oversaw the company’s rebrand to Flutter Entertainment and the following year, he assumed the position of CEO of Flutter International.
Flutter Entertainment boasts a portfolio of global brands, such as FanDuel, Sky Betting & Gaming, Sportsbet, PokerStars, Paddy Power, Sisal, Betfair, FOX Bet, Junglee Games, and Adjarabet.
The Flutter Edge strategic approach empowers the organization to foster synergy and enables the leveraging of its
collective strengths to propel local brands toward attaining a regional competitive edge. The overall strategy will be the focus of Taylor’s keynote speech at SBC Summit Barcelona.

SBC Summit Barcelona will be held at the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc September 19-21 and host 15,000 attendees, making it one of the fastest-growing events in the industry.
