Last June in Toronto, more than 2,000 industry stakeholders took part in the two-day conference at Toronto’s Metro Toronto Convention Centre. SBC runs the event now in tandem with the Canadian Gaming Association.

This summer the event will be held June 18-20 at the same location and SBC expects more than 3,000 delegates from prominent affiliates, sports teams, suppliers, crown corporations, lotteries, First Nation representatives, and representatives from 600-plus operators.

“What makes the Canadian Gaming Summit so special is that it’s not just about delivering exceptional educational content,” said Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, in a statement. “It’s also about diving into the latest innovations, engaging with prominent regional brands, and seizing countless networking chances.”

This year’s exhibition floor at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre will be home to over 75 global and regional brands, in booths showing new technologies, the latest game releases, and other innovative services. According to an SBC statement, brands that will be exhibiting at the show include Altenar, Arrow Games, BetConstruct, Continent 8, Everi, Gigadat, Kinectify, Optimove, Paramount Commerce, Payper, Paysafe, Smartsoft Gaming, and Soft2Bet.

“There will be a big focus on bringing more participants from other provinces beyond Ontario and our conference program will reflect that,” said Cristian Robalino, SBC spokesperson. “We expect the event to grow from what was a great year one for SBC as first-time organizers of the event.”

A hallmark of the show is expert panels, discussing a wide array of industry topics. This year there will be over 150 expert speakers, all specializing in the Canadian market. Notable speakers for the show will include Paul Burns, CEO of the Canadian Gaming Association; Chuck Keeling, Executive Vice President, Great Canadian Gaming Corporation; Scott Vanderwel, CEO, PointsBet Canada; Steve Lautischer, EVP, Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission; and Roxana Zaharia, Head of Canada, Rhino Entertainment. Seating capacity in the individual halls will be higher than at least year’s event.

“Given the dynamic landscape of the Canadian market, there is still so much room for exploration, making this event essential for anyone seeking operations in Canada,” Sojmark noted.

Like last year, a “Player Protection Symposium” will proceed the two-day conference. The event will be marked again by exclusive networking opportunities. SBC is offering a Super Early Bird rate of CAD$695, a $300 savings on the standard price for a Full Access Pass. Contact sales@sbcgaming.com.
