The recent SBC Summit North America attracted nearly 5,000 attendees, a high mark for the conference devoted to online sports betting and igaming.
“If one thing was abundantly clear from this year’s SBC Summit North America, it was that the event was clearly surpassing the capacity and resources the Meadowlands Exposition Center could provide,” Robalino told CDC Gaming.
Thus, 2025 will see the conference rebranded and in a new locale. The first edition of SBC Summit Americas is scheduled for May 13-15, 2025, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The new event will combine SBC Summit North America and SBC Latinoamérica.
“With an increased venue size, alongside a more centralized location for delegates to travel to, we are able to accommodate a staggering 8,000 attendees and provide an exhibition floor that will play host to 300 exhibitors and sponsors,” Robalino said.
“By combining the strengths of both SBC Summit North America and SBC Summit Latinoamérica, the event offers a streamlined, one-stop destination for delegates operating across North, Central, and South America to connect, share ideas, and expand their understanding of such dynamic and exciting markets.”
SBC Summit Americas will feature an exhibition floor with separate zones devoted to casino, sports betting, and emerging technologies, alongside dedicated startup pavilions showcasing cybersecurity, fintech, and AI.
“These dedicated zones will allow for a more seamless navigation across the floor and provide delegates the opportunity to centralize their efforts toward the areas of the industry they are most interested in,” Robalino said.
SBC Summit Americas will also see the introduction of three new summits:
- SBC Leaders’ Summit featuring 200 CEOs.
- Affiliate Leaders’ Summit, an opportunity for affiliates to connect with local operators and partners.
- Payment Expert Summit, a platform for payment providers to further connect with the industry.
“Our aim for SBC Summit Americas is to continue providing the same invaluable conference insights and networking opportunities but on a bigger and far more enriching scale,” Robalino said. “There will be dedicated regional meet-ups, alongside market-specific conference panels, ensuring every delegate will walk away having gleaned invaluable insights into their specific area of operation.”
