As reported in CDC Gaming’s ‘Igaming Focus’ last week, Rush Street Interactive (RSI) is said to be gearing up for a sale. Media stories have RSI possibly being sold before the start of NFL season this September. True or not, the focus will in part be on how its business is performing in regulated U.S. states, which brings us to Delaware.
Delaware Lottery, which oversees gambling in the state, announced in January that it was partnering with Rush Street Interactive to launch its own sportsbook and online-casino platform through RSI’s BetRivers app. Delaware Park, Bally’s Dover Casino, and Harrington Raceway & Casino are the three online casinos in the state.
Igaming revenues have steadily risen since January. Total net gaming revenue for June was over $5 million, up from $3.9 million in May.
According to RSI, live dealer has been very popular since going live in June, with the top games being blackjack, roulette, and craps.
Live games were launched by Evolution through the RSI platform. The online casinos for Delaware Park and Harrington are accessible through the BetRivers platform, while Bally’s has its own standalone app.
“The recent live dealer online casino launch reinforces BetRivers commitment to offer Delaware online players the best mix of innovative and entertaining games available,” said Richard Schwartz, Rush Street Interactive CEO.
A spokesperson from RSI said the Top 10 casino slot games in Delaware are: Cash Machine (Everi), Cash Eruption (IGT), Fortune Coin (IGT), 88 Fortunes (Light & Wonder), Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls China Street (Light & Wonder), Ultra Blazing Fire Link India (Light & Wonder), Money Link The Great Immortals (Light & Wonder/Lightning Box), Thundering Shenlong (Light & Wonder/Lightning Box), Thundering Gorilla (Light & Wonder /Lightning Box), Chicken Fox 5x Skillstar (Light & Wonder/Lighting Box).
Table games are very popular in the market, contributing nearly half of total igaming wager. Top table games are Blackjack (IGT), Blackjack with Surrender (IGT) and Roulette (IGT).
