Volunteers from Rivers Casino Pittsburgh’s will spend a day helping a community member.

Wednesday, members of the Rivers Gives team will be at ACH Clear Pathways in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, helping the non-profit organization get ready for a fundraiser and tribute to the late Pittsburgh Steeler Franco Harris.

Rivers Gives is the casino’s community outreach program.

“This month, ACH Clear Pathways is excited to welcome the Rivers Gives team to our facility,” said ACH Program Director Danai Battle in a statement. “Their volunteer hours that they’ll spend here mean the world to us, and will really help us get stuff done.”

ACH Clear Pathways works to enrich the lives of youths and families through visual and performing arts. Rivers Gives members will be organizing, sorting, and cleaning the facility to prepare for the fundraiser.

“We’re looking forward to getting out to the ACH facility and lending a helping hand to sort through and organize materials within the building,” said Rivers Casino Pittsburgh Director of Community Relations Dr. Rahmon Hart. “We’re lucky that the Rivers Gives team can volunteer each month at different organizations throughout the city.”
