Rhode Island casinos generated $50.7 million in January, down 6.3% year-over-year.
According to the latest report from the Rhode Island Lottery, table games revenue in the state declined 14.3% to $10.2 million. Video lottery terminal revenues also declined, falling 4% year-over-year to $40.5 million.
Of the state’s two casinos, both saw revenue decline, with Bally’s Twin River reporting the largest drop.
Revenue for the casino fell 7.2% to $38.3 million. Video lottery terminals and table games revenue fell, with table games decreasing by 16% to $8.2 million. Video lottery terminal revenue declined 4.4% to $30.1 million.
Bally’s Tiverton casino fell 3.3% to $12.4 million. Table games revenue saw a 5.9% decline to just less than $2 million. Video lottery terminals revenue was down 2.8% to $10.4 million.
