Rhode Island casinos saw a decline in revenue of 0.9% year-over-year in July, with profits declining from $53.7 million to $53.2 million.
The latest figures published by the Rhode Island Lottery show that Bally’s Tiverton Casino reported revenue of $13.8 million last month, up 2% from $12.8 million. Slots in the casino saw growth of 2.5%, from $10.8 million to $11.1 million. Table games were down 0.4% from $2 million to $1.98 million.
Bally’s Twin Rivers Casino’s revenue declined by 1.8% year-over-year, dropping from $40.8 million to $40.1 million. Slot revenue for the casino increased by 2% from $31.6 million to $32.3 million. However, table games saw a 15% decrease, with profits declining from $9.2 million to $7.8 million.
Combined slot revenue for the state rose 2.2% year-over-year from $42.5 million to $43.4 million, while table games saw a double-figure decrease of 12.6% from $11.2 million to $9.8 million.
