Igaming developer and technology provider Relax Gaming expands its U.S. presence, announcing the upcoming launch of its games in Pennsylvania, which will be the second state where the company’s content is available.
After the interim authorization, RLX Gaming, the company’s U.S.-facing brand, received from the Pennsylvania Gambling Commission Board in May, the company will debut its games in BetMGM Pennsylvania’s online casino. The launch will strengthen Relax Gaming’s presence in North America, where it is licensed and active in New Jersey and Ontario.
“We’re extremely excited to continue our U.S. ambitions with the go live in Pennsylvania,” Relax Gaming CEO Martin Stålros said. “We have had a very encouraging start in New Jersey together with BetMGM and we’re delighted that our games resonate so well in the market. Launching in a new state allows us to continue our upward trajectory and progress further in the U.S. market in 2024.”
“As the first operator to bring Relax Gaming/RLX Gaming to the States, we are excited to continue to expand to new markets,” Vice President of Gaming Product & Content at BetMGM Oliver Barlett said. “Titles like The Great Pigsby and Epic Joker are popular and now they will be available to more players on BetMGM casino sites in Pennsylvania.”
The launch in Pennsylvania follows RLX Gaming’s U.S. debut with BetMGM Casino in New Jersey in December, where the partnership was announced with reference to BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt’s vision to make 2024 ‘an investment year for the brand,’ leading to $500 million EBITDA in 2026.
In addition to producing casino, poker and bingo games through its network of studios, Relax Gaming aggregates games from third parties like Light & Wonder and has a library of more than 4,000 titles, many of which will be made available to Pennsylvania players.
