MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) – The Poarch Band of Creeks Indians is expanding another one of its casinos in Alabama.
Officials with PCI Gaming Authority say the $65 million expansion at Creek Casino Montgomery will include three restaurants from the Beale Street Blues Company, including a B.B King’s Blues Club and Restaurant, am expanded gaming area with 2,100 electronic games, and a five-story hotel with 119 rooms and an event center.
The first restaurant, called Lucille’s, will open in November and the entire project is slated for completion in early 2016.
The tribe previously upgraded its Wetumpka and Atmore casinos to include new gaming areas, high-rise hotels and upscale restaurants. The tribe estimates the Montgomery upgrade will add about 100 jobs.
