Playtech, Hard Rock Digital reach agreement for table and live dealer games in North America

Playtech Tuesday announced the completion of the first milestone in its strategic partnership with Hard Rock Digital to bring random number generator slots, table games, and live dealer games to North America.

In March 2023, Playtech signed an agreement to invest $85 million in Hard Rock Digital in exchange for a single-digit stake in the company. Since then, Playtech has delivered games via Hard Rock Digital’s proprietary Hard Rock Bet platform in New Jersey, including RNG slots, table games, and live dealer games. The tables include several Playtech-developed Hard Rock Bet-branded games.

“Our alliance is built on shared values, mutual trust, and a joint vision of driving innovation and a unique customer experience,” said Playtech VP U.S. Business Operations Jonathan Doubilet in a statement. “By combining our expertise and resources, we have reached our first milestone together and are accelerating our growing partnership with Hard Rock Digital.”

Customers in New Jersey and future Hard Rock Bet iCasino North American markets will have access to Playtech’s slots, live-dealer blackjack and roulette, and the game show “Adventures Beyond Wonderland.”

Currently, Hard Rock Digital offers online and retail sports betting in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee (online only), and Virginia, while offering retail sports betting and an integrated online sportsbook-casino experiences in New Jersey. Hard Rock Digital plans to launch in more states and bring its online sportsbook and igaming offerings to select international markets.
