Play Synergy Tuesday announced the opening of new offices in Japan and the Philippines. The manufacturer and distributor of casino games including Class III and Class II slot machines, and table games said the new offices will tap into a pool of “proven and talented developers with expertise in the gaming industry.”
“We are proud to make this announcement as Japan and Philippine game designers have proven to the industry that they have a strong sense for game content that will attract and retain players.” said Play Synergy President Frank Feng in a statement. “Many of these designers and engineers are veterans of the gaming industry with years of industry experience in areas of the world that have as many or more gaming devices as North America, on a per capita basis. We are confident that their expertise will provide for consistent supply of game themes that will perform well on the casino floor.”
Designers and engineers at the new offices will develop game content for Play Synergy’s Speed, Hyper Speed, and Speed XL cabinets. The content will be available for Class II and Class III markets.
Play Synergy, an Empire Technological Group company, expects new game themes from the offices will be available in the fourth quarter of 2023.
