The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported Thursday that August revenue was $569.7 million, down 2.2% year over year.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National in Grantsville led with revenue of $109.5 million, up 8.1%. Valley Forge Casino Resort followed with $93.3 million, down 4.4%. Rivers Casino Philadelphia posted revenue of $57.3 million, up 1%.
Slot revenue reached $213.9 million, down 1.3%. Parx Casino led with $31.4 million, down 5.9%. Wind Creek Bethlehem posted $24.6 million, down 0.2%, while Rivers Casino Pittsburgh reported $22.2 million, down 0.2%.
Pennsylvania generated $245.7 million in igaming revenue in August, up 6.3%. Hollywood Casino at Penn National led with $95.4 million, up 11.6%. Valley Forge Casino Resort posted $67.4 million, down a 0.2%. Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported $39.9 million, up 9%.
Sports betting revenue reached $39.3 million. Valley Forge Casino Resort generated $15.1 million from a handle of $169.3 million. Hollywood Casino at the Meadows in Meadowlands brought in $10.7 million in revenue from handle of $161.4 million. Hollywood Casino York’s revenue was $3.5 million from a handle of $36.4 million.
Tax revenue for the month was $249 million.
