The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on Friday reported that revenue generated from various games the agency regulates reached $7 billion, a record level during fiscal Year 2025/2026. It’s the first time Pennsylvania has surpassed the $7 billion mark.
The total reflects gross revenue produced from the casino slot machines and table games, igaming, sports wagering, video gaming terminals and fantasy sports contests.
Taxes and fees generated from gaming during the fiscal year was $3 billion, also a record. The amounts for revenue and taxes being reported are prior to any possible adjustments by the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.
Revenue from taxes and fees returned to Pennsylvania from the various forms of gaming regulated by the PGCB are used for:
- School property tax reduction on an owner’s primary residence.
- State, county, and local economic development, safety and recreational projects.
- Support of the agricultural industry through support of horse racing.
- Grants for local municipalities and counties.
- Revenue toward the Commonwealth’s general fund.
Revenues from various gaming during 2025/2026 were:
- Slot machine revenue: $2.4 billion; state leader: Parx Casino, $375.1 million
- Table games revenue: $908.9 million; state leader, Wind Creek Bethlehem, $239.9 million
- iGaming revenue: $2.9 billion; state leader, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, $1.1 billion
- Sports wagering: $662.3 million; state leader, Valley Forge Casino Resort, $272.6 million
