Paris Las Vegas, the Strip’s homage to the French capital, will reopen next Thursday but the adjacent Bally’s Las Vegas – which is connected via an indoor pedestrian promenade – will remain closed.
Caesars Entertainment announced the reopening Friday. The company is slowly moving toward relaunching its nine Strip area resorts following a nearly three-month closure along with the rest of Nevada’s gaming industry due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Caesars Palace and Flamingo Las Vegas reopened on June 4 followed by Harrah’s Las Vegas a day later. The company reopened the gaming floor and other amenities of the Linq resort on Friday, but the property’s hotel remained closed. The adjacent Linq Promenade and High Roller Observation Wheel also opened on June 4.
The reopening of Paris Las Vegas will include a portion of the property’s 2,900 hotel rooms, the casino, hotel pool, and several restaurants, including Mon Ami Gabi, Beer Park, and Gordon Ramsey Steak. While the Eiffel Tower restaurant will be open for dinner daily, the replica tower’s tours will remain closed, according to a spokesman.
In a statement, Caesars CEO Tony Rodio said the reopening of Paris was announced because the company is continuing to see increased customer interest in visiting Las Vegas this summer.
“We will continue to emphasize our enhanced health and safety protocols and create the memorable guest experiences that draw people from all over to Las Vegas,” Rodio said. “This positive momentum also enables us to bring more employees back to work, which is great news for them, their families, the company, and the community.”
Caesars previously announced that it suspended fees for paid self-parking in Las Vegas.
In addition to Las Vegas, Caesars has reopened regional properties in Louisiana, Mississippi, Iowa, Missouri, Lake Tahoe, and Laughlin, Nevada, as well as tribal properties in Arizona, California, and North Carolina.

Paris Las Vegas will follow Caesars’ health and safety protocols, which includes more frequent cleaning and sanitization. Caesars has also implemented a health screening program for all employees, who are required to wear masks provided by the company. Guests are also provided masks and strongly encouraged to wear them throughout their visit.
