Three Rivers Casino Resort in Florence, Oregon, is celebrating what is believed to be the largest table games jackpot won in state history. A guest named Janice hit the BSX Triple Diamond Progressive Jackpot for $253,853 during a game of Three Card Poker.

The historic win marks a milestone not only for Three Rivers Casino Resort, but also for table games across the state. Casino officials stated jackpots of this size are extremely rare on table games in Oregon, making the win one of the most significant progressive payouts recorded.

“I am just so shocked. I’m still shocked! We just can’t believe it!” Janice said. “My whole body felt numb.”

Janice and her husband, Karl, club members since 2009 from Sandy, Oregon, said they were completely overwhelmed by the experience. Janice won the progressive jackpot after placing a $5 BSX side wager and hitting the bonus on the second hand dealt to her after sitting down at the table.

Only hours after Janice’s historic jackpot win, Karl won the BSX Double Diamond Jackpot for an additional $10,904 at the same table, creating a back-to-back winning moment during the couple’s 18th wedding anniversary trip.

“I just never expected to win something like this, especially after my wife had just won,” Karl said.

“We are thrilled for our guests and excited to celebrate such an incredible moment here at Three Rivers Casino Resort,” said Rich Colton, the casino resort’s Director of Marketing “This was more than just a jackpot. This was a truly historic gaming moment for the state of Oregon. Watching the reactions from our guests and team members as this unfolded was incredible. The energy across the casino floor was something none of us will ever forget.”

The couple said they plan to use the winnings for cruises and vacations together.

“We love it here,” they said. “The dealers and pit bosses are so nice. When we want to go for a getaway, we always come here. We spend every anniversary at Three Rivers Casino.”
