Swedish game developer Thunderkick has delivered on its North American expansion plans by launching games in Ontario through agreements with LeoVegas and PokerStars online casinos.
A Thunderkick press release outlined the region as a key focus area for the company in 2024. U.S. players can access Thunderkick’s games on the High 5 social casino platform in states where available.
“Canada’s regulated province was a key target for Thunderkick in 2024 as we continue to expand our influence across the Atlantic, and our arrival in the burgeoning jurisdiction builds on the U.S. social casino entry earlier this year,” Chief Commercial Officer Svante Sahlström told CDC Gaming.
Not all Thunderkick games will be available from launch, although most of its major titles are expected to be available within a month. Ontario players will soon be able to play games like Midas Golden Touch Reborn, Xterminate, 12 Bolts of Thunder and Beat the Beast: Dragon’s Wrath.
“As well as providing operators with our well-known titles, we also have a range of exciting releases planned for the coming months,” Sahlström said. “These will continue to feature state-of-the-art visuals and cutting-edge mechanics to deliver on our promise of providing the ultimate player experience that prioritizes immersion.”
