WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma, recently unveiled the Redbud Course.

Originally designed by golf course architect D.A. Weibring and Wolfard Golf Design, Redbud was renovated in 2026. The enhanced course features laser-leveled tee boxes, resilient Tahoma 31 fairways, Tifton 10 roughs, and smooth TifEagle greens.

“We designed Redbud to capture the same winning spirit people love about WinStar,” WinStar World Casino and Resort President Jack Parkinson said in a statement. “The world-class, versatile course is a beautiful nod to the Sooner State. Redbud gives golfers exactly what they want, whether that’s a competitive challenge or a relaxed day out on the greens with a stunning Oklahoma backdrop.”

The course was designed to accommodate a range of playing styles, providing a balanced mix of playability and challenge for golfers of all skill levels, with playable yards ranging from 4,900 to more than 7,100. The addition of strategically placed bunkers adds more complexity to the course, while new Oklahoma native foliage brings out the natural beauty of the Red River Valley.

WinStar Golf Club’s other championship course – the Scissortail Course – will open this summer.
