Construction on an estimated $100 million Muscogee Nation tribe and Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises casino and hotel in Coweta, Oklahoma, is set to begin this September.
“Investing in the City of Coweta represents a remarkable new chapter in our growing entertainment and hospitality legacy,” Muskogee Nation Principal Chief David Hill said in a news release. “The Coweta Casino Hotel will expand cultural tourism, create jobs and enhance the quality of life of our citizens.”
Officials expect the casino to open by Spring 2026. The 104,000-square-foot venue will be on 17 acres at the southeast corner of 131 Street and Oklahoma 51. It will offer a 35,000-square-foot casino with a central bar, 750 gaming machines, a 150-seat restaurant and private dining rooms. The hotel will accommodate up to 150 guests with 46 rooms, a pool, a fitness center, concierge services and more.
“The Coweta Casino and Hotel will be a premier destination, offering a variety of amenities to cater to all our guests’ needs. Our team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience, from our state-of-the-art gaming floor to our high-quality dining and lodging options,” Andy Langston, Chief Operating Officer of MNGE, said in the news release.
This update comes shortly after the tribe started construction on the 20,500-square-foot Eufaula Casino Hotel & Resort. The tribe expects to complete this $69.8 million casino project in November 2025.
