Lakecrest Casino and Hotel, the latest casino project from the Chickasaw Nation tribe in Oklahoma, will open on Wednesday.

Located at Lake Murray, the casino is about 10 miles from Ardmore and 2 miles east of I-35 exit 29 on State Highway 70.

Approved by the Bureau of Indian Affairs in October 2020, the 70,000-square-foot casino will feature more than 1,000 slot machines and eight table games, including blackjack and Texas hold’em. Visitors can also enjoy on-site amenities, including the Lakeside Grill restaurant, The Bar and Winning Picks Coffee. The Oasis Boutique gift shop will feature clothing and accessories from “world-class brands.” The hotel will have 89 rooms, a resort-style pool, conference rooms and an RV park. It is open for bookings via its website.

On April 3, the Choctaw Nation opened Choctaw Landing Casino  in Hochatown, and will host an official grand opening on May 23.
