Ohio’s casino revenue up 3.5% year-on-year in January

Ohio casinos yielded $77.8 million in January revenue, up 3.5% compared to the previous year’s $75.2 million.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission reported $22.6 million in table revenue, up from $22.2 million year-over-year, and $55.1 million in slot game revenue, up from $52.9 million in January 2024.

Hollywood Columbus Casino generated the highest revenue last month, with more than $22.1 million in revenue. Table games generated $5.6 million, up 38.3% increase from January 2024, and slot revenue generated $16.4 million, up 5.6% year over year.

Jack Cleveland Casino produced $19.6 million in revenue, $7.9 million in table games and $11.6 million in slot revenue; Hollywood Taledo Casino generated $18.4 million in revenue, $2.8 million for table games and $15.5 million for slots; and Hard Rock Cincinnati Casino yielded $17.6 million in revenue, $6.1 in table games and $11.4 million for slots.

Ohio sportsbooks were down 29.4% year-over-year in January, generating $80.1 million in revenue compared to $113.6 million the previous year.

Fan Duel at Belterra Park generated the highest revenue for the month: $358.6 million was wagered, up from $282.7 million in January 2024, and $38.8 million was generated in revenue, down from $52.9 million year-over-year.
