Ohio’s casinos generated revenue of $94.4 million in March, down from $94.7 million reported in the previous year, a year-over-year decline of 0.3%.
The Ohio Casino Control Commission reported that of the $94.4 million in March revenue, slots revenue totaled $68.8 million, while table games added $25.5 million.
Those figures are slightly down from March last year. Slot gaming revenue declined from $69 million, a 0.2% drop, and table game revenue decreased from $25.6 million, a 0.4% decline.
There was a mixed picture across the state’s four casinos. Hollywood Columbus and Hard Rock Cincinnati saw a 3% year-over-year rise in revenue. Hard Rock Cincinnati reported $22.8 million in revenue in March, in contrast to Hollywood Columbus, which remained the top revenue earner, with $26.6 million in gaming revenue last month.
Hollywood Toledo’s revenue fell 2% to $22 million last month. Jack Cleveland saw revenue fall 6%, recording $23 million compared to the previous year’s $24.5 million.
