In addition, NOVOMATIC announced the acquisition of selected assets of Apogee Gaming and that it will unveil games at the Indian Gaming Association conference in San Diego in March.

NOVOMATIC Americas Sales will be the single point of contact for APEX Pro Gaming equipment in North America and the Caribbean. The deal combines NOVOMATIC America’s product offering with the APEX Clover Link And Clover Link Extreme product lines and adds more progressive link power to the NOVOMATIC Americas link families. Clover Link and Clover Link Xtreme will be seen for the first time in the NOVOMATIC Americas’ booth at IGA.

APEX has been manufacturing and supplying casino equipment for nearly 20 years. It’s known for Jackpot Islands and other slot machines, in addition to electronic table games and ancillary product lines. It’s a complete jackpot solution available with multi, single, or link games.

Apogee Gaming has been introducing and distributing APEX products in most of the U.S. and Canada for six years. With more than 30 years of experience in gaming, Jean-Louis Drapeau, the general manager of Apogee Gaming, will join NOVOMATIC Americas as a consultant and will work together with the NOVOMATIC Americas Sales team.

Company officials said APEX has a reputation for strong innovation, while NOVOMATIC has a reputation for cutting-edge technology married with great games. “Operators will be getting the best of both talented gaming organizations after joining forces in North America,” according to Rick Meitzler, CEO of NOVOMATIC Americas.

“Operators are looking for new gaming solutions and floor-optimization strategies. APEX and Apogee have placed great focus on supporting them in every way,” Meitzler said. “With the experience of Jean-Louis and the strong performance of the APEX product lines, we believe in a mutually beneficial relationship between the companies and our customers.”

Drapeau said they begin 2023 with this “tremendous growth effort.” Working together and utilizing the combined experience of these leadership teams will be of tremendous value moving forward.

“We have been working on this for months and it is exciting when we are bringing some of the best products together from around the globe, and marrying that with such an experienced gaming team,” Meitzler said. “APEX’s technology will rapidly increase the overall output for NOVOMATIC Americas, taking us to the next level of exceptional growth.
