New York’s four full-scale commercial casinos generated $56 million in revenue for October, up 4.3% from the previous year’s $53.7 million.
The figures, published by the New York State Gaming Commission, revealed that of the four casinos, only one reported a year-over-year decline last month. Rivers Casino in Schenectady recorded the highest revenue, rising 2.4% from $17.3 million to $17.7 million.
Del Lago Casino and Resort reported revenue up 10.6% from $13 million to $14.4 million and the highest of all four casinos. Tioga Downs saw revenue rise 6.5% from $9.1 million to $9.6 million.
Resorts World Catskills reported the only revenue decline last month, with revenue dropping 0.7% from $14.3 million to $14.2 million.
Statewide, slot games accounted for $43.1 million, up 7.1% from $40.2 million. Table games generated $11.7 million, down 7.7% from $12.6 million. Poker and retail sports wagering accounted for the remainder of the total, reporting $831,340 and $438,556, respectively.
