The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City raised more than $164,000 through its Pinktober initiative, earning the resort the number-one ranking for a fundraising team per the American Cancer Society.

Pinktober is part of the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, the charitable arm of Hard Rock International, with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society to support breast cancer awareness and research. Hard Rock International has raised more than $10 million since Pinktober’s inception 23 years ago, including $1.2 million in 2022.

The funds raised by Hard Rock Atlantic City will benefit American Cancer Society’s efforts in New Jersey.

“Breast cancer has impacted so many and the dedication of our team members, guests, and community to support one another is inspiring.”” said Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City President George Goldhoff in a statement.

The resort was the presenting sponsor for the Oct. 8 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Ocean City. A portion of the proceeds from Foreigner’s sold-out shows Oct. 27 and 28 at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena also benefited Pinktober efforts. Other Pinktober fundraisers included themed food and beverage offerings, deluxe Pinktober Rock Spa services, and limited-edition merchandise.

Hard Rock Atlantic City and Atlantic Medical Imaging, through the AMI Foundation, also hosted the Dr. Jan Austin Mobile Digital Mammography Van, offering team members opportunities to obtain breast cancer screenings during workdays.
