Mesquite Gaming Friday introduced Justin Moore as its CEO, effective immediately. Moore will oversee the operations of CasaBlanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Hotel & Casino, both in Mesquite, Nevada.
“Mesquite Gaming has presented me with a tremendous opportunity to elevate the unique experiences these two destination properties already provide to everyone looking for entertainment, recreation, and fun,” Moore said in a statement. “I’m so happy that my career has brought me full circle back to the city where I worked in my first casino.”
Moore has 25 years of experience in the gaming industry. Prior to joining Mesquite Gaming in 2023 as an executive consultant, Moore served as general manager at Rivers Casino Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. His gaming industry career started as a food server at the Mesquite Star Casino in Mesquite in 1999. He also has worked at Station Casinos in Las Vegas, eventually advancing to vice president and assistant general manager at Green Valley Ranch Resort & Casino. In 2017, he became VP/General Manager at Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady, New York.
Moore’s accomplishments include being named to Las Vegas’ 40 Under 40 in 2015. In 2016, he was named Mentor of the Year by the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for helping students learn how to succeed in the gaming industry.
