Mesquite Gaming recently announced that Joseph Micciche has been appointed director of cage operations for CasaBlanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Hotel & Casino, both located in Mesquite, Nevada.
Micciche has more than 30 years of experience in cage operation.
“Joe knows cage operations inside and out,” said Mesquite Gaming CEO Justin Moore in a statement. “It’s a very important part of our business, and adding his experience to our team makes us even stronger.”
Micciche started in the gaming industry as a front-line cashier at Ameristar Casino in Missouri, before serving as shift manager. He later served as cage operations manager at Casino New York in Brooklyn and at Augustine Casino in Coachella, California.
Micciche moved to the Las Vegas area in 2005 and spent eight years as cage & credit manager with Station Casinos. He also has worked at The Westgate, The Bellagio Resort & Casino, and most recently, the Aria Resort & Casino.
