Nebraska’s casinos generated over $20.7 million in gross gaming revenue in June, a 121% increase from $9.4 million in June 2024, fueled by a major expansion at WarHorse Casino Omaha.
However, the total declined by 14.4% compared to May. The month-over-month decline ended three consecutive months of record revenue totals for Nebraska casinos.
According to the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission report, WarHorse Casino Omaha saw a revenue rise of more than 8,543% year-over-year from June 2024, from $89,000 to $7.7 million. The significant rise comes after the casino expanded from only offering retail sports betting to operating slots, table games, and electronic table games in August.
Its sister gambling location, WarHorse Casino Lincoln, also posted positive revenue gains, adding 4.23% year-over-year to its total. However, the $6.2 million total meant it lost the title of top revenue generator in Nebraska to WarHorse Gaming Omaha.
Grand Island Casino generated $4.6 million in revenues in June 2025, a 75.9% increase compared to the $2.6 million brought in during June 2024.
Harrah’s Casino was the only one of the state’s four casinos to see revenue fall, with a 7.8% decrease from $2.2 million to $2.1 million.
