Nebraska’s five casinos and racetracks reported $28 million in revenues in March, up 42.6% year-over-year.
According to a report published by the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission, slots accounted for $23.9 million, up 44%. Table games generated $2.6 million, up 22%, and electronic table games had revenue of $789,351, up 21%. Retail sports betting increased by 151% year-over-year, generating $791,353 in March.
WarHorse Casino Omaha, which recently expanded, recorded the highest March revenue, $10.3 million, up 55%. WarHorse Lincoln followed with revenues of $8.5 million, up 20.4%.
Grand Island Casino, which moved to its permanent venue in April, recorded the highest year-over-year earnings growth in the state at 66%, posting revenues of $6 million.
Harrah’s Columbus was the only casino that saw a year-over-year decline in March, dropping 10.3% to $2 million. Lake Mac Casino & Resort, which opened in August, posted revenues of $1.1 million.
