Nebraska casinos reported $26.4 million in revenue in February, up 56.7% year-over-year, amid more gaming options in the state.
The figures, published by the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission, show that of the combined total, slots accounted for $22.5 million, up 61.8%. Table games increased 17.4% to $2.1 million. Electronic table games generated $858,476, and retail sports betting produced $877,696.
Of the state’s five casinos, WarHorse Casino Omaha, which expanded in April, recorded the highest revenue for the month, up 62.1% year-over-year to $9.9 million, followed closely by WarHorse Casino Lincoln, which reported $7.7 million in revenue, a year-over-year rise of 33.6%.
Grand Island Casino, which opened a permanent facility in April, reported the biggest year-over-year revenue increase in February, up 85.5% from $3 million to $5.6 million.
Harrah’s Columbus had the lowest revenue, up 7% year-over-year to $2.1 million.
Lake Mac Casino, which opened in August, $1.1 million in revenue.
