The National Council on Legislators from Gaming States will host a panel of experts to discuss combating illegal gambling markets at its winter meeting.
The panel, Law Enforcement, Here We Come, will take place at the NCLGS winter meeting Jan. 3-6, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Hosted by Oklahoma Representative Chris Kannady, the panel will feature Eric Frank, CEO and Founder of Odds on Compliance; Spectrum Gaming Group President and CEO Fredric Gushin; GeoComply SVP Compliance Lindsay Slader; and Louis Trombetta, Florida Gaming Control Commission Executive Director.
The January conference will feature 12 sessions chaired by U.S. legislative leaders, a luncheon keynote, and two networking receptions. The Sports Betting Regulators Association will be co-locating at the NCLGS winter meeting, hosting a two-hour session open to attendees prior to the opening reception on January 3.
The NCLGS summer meeting, held July 2023 in Denver, attracted 300 attendees including 100 legislators and regulators. All NCLGS meetings are open to the public.
The NCLGS bills itself as the only organization of state lawmakers that meets on a regular basis to discuss issues related to gaming. NCLGS neither promotes nor opposes gaming, but focuses on proper regulation and promoting best practices in the governance of the gaming industry
