Mohegan Sun announced this week that guests in June won $1 million in jackpots. A royal flush to a rare six-card straight flush have been hit at Casino of the Sky and Casino of the Earth at Mohegan Sun.
The biggest table game side bet jackpot of the summer came July 10, when a lucky guest hit a rare five-card royal flush while playing blackjack in Casino of the Earth, triggering a payout of $374,887. On June 7, a blackjack player struck a diamond royal flush with a $5 wager on the Super 4 Progressive side bet, earning $307,817.
Additional jackpot winnings:
- June 11: A player hit a six-card straight flush, capturing 10% of the progressive meter and winning $82,202.
- June 17: A player scored a six-card straight flush, collecting a payout of $75,323 on a high card flush jackpot.
- July 1: A player landed a straight flush, taking home a prize of $109,925.
- July 22: A player hit an AKQJ Diamonds progressive jackpot, scoring a payout of $138,070.
- July 30: A player hit a royal flush on the Super 4 Progressive, earning a jackpot of $103,506.
Mohegan Sun’s $2 million summer of promotions, events and tournaments during Hot Summer Fun runs through September. Momentum club members can win a share of the cash prize by playing slot machines, table games, or in the poker room, with opportunities daily.
Guests also can take part in the Summer Blackjack Tournament Series, running weekly through September. Players who earn two status points receive a tournament entry and the chance to compete for a share of more than $100,000 in prizes awarded throughout the series.
Each weekly tournament features a $10,000 prize pool, with top finishers earning free bets and the top 25 players receiving prizes.
