Mohegan on Monday appointed Scott Schuman as Vice President of Corporate Finance. He joins Mohegan from IMAX Corporation, where he was Vice President and Head of Financial Planning & Analysis.
Schuman will lead key corporate finance functions including financial planning & analysist, capital markets, treasury, investor relations, and strategic planning.
“Scott steps into this role at a pivotal time for Mohegan,” Mohegan Chief Financial Officer Ari Glazer said in a statement. “He will immediately elevate the way we support stakeholders, sharpen strategic analysis and ensure clear communication of our financial performance and outlook. His experience driving financial rigor in complex, high-growth environments make him an exceptional addition to our leadership team.”
Prior to IMAX, Schuman held senior finance positions at NBCUniversal and Samsung Electronics America. At NBCUniversal, he directed financial assessments for major projects and facilitated significant cost savings in vendor contracts. At Samsung, Scuhman led financial forecasting for products with $12 billion in annual sales and directed e-commerce financial strategy.
