London-based mkodo, the international gaming-technology company, is joining the Canadian Gaming Association as a member, which the company says shows its commitment to supporting the Canadian igaming sector.

The company’s mobile apps, websites, user interfaces, and geolocation technology target the lottery and gaming industry worldwide.

In Canada, mkodo currently has as clients lottery operators Ontario Lottery and Gaming Association, British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis, as well as White Hat Gaming, Casino Time and Betty.

As a member of CGA, mkodo will work with other industry leaders in Canada to drive innovation and contribute to the growth of the industry, while pushing for responsible-gaming practices.

“This membership aligns perfectly with our mission to provide exceptional user experiences in iGaming and Lottery and reinforces our commitment to supporting responsible gaming initiatives within Canada,” said Stuart Godfree, Managing Director of mkodo, in a statement.

The GeoLocs geolocation-verification service from mkodo specializes in North America’s regulated sports-betting and igaming markets. mkodo said in a news release that their platform was built to help igaming operators ensure they are offering their services in licensed jurisdictions, ensuring they are providing responsible gaming to customers.

“[mkodo’s] expertise as the leading mobile apps and geolocation supplier to Crown Corporations Lotteries will be a valuable addition to our community,” said Canadian Gaming Association President and CEO Paul Burns.
