UK-based casino operator Ellipse Entertainment has entered into an agreement with Mkodo’s geolocation-verification service, GeoLocs, for their Ontario igaming operations.
Founded in 2001, Mkodo, also based in the UK, builds apps and websites for sportsbook, casino, and lottery operators. Mkodo’s clientele comprises several leading lotteries and gaming companies around the world, including the majority of the Canadian lotteries and some of the largest gaming operators in the U.K. Ellipse Entertainment, licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) in December 2022, has integrated GeoLocs’ platform into its High Flyer Casino brand.
“Our partnership supports Ellipse Entertainment’s High Flyer Casino brand, ensuring a secure and seamless geolocation verification experience for players across Ontario,” said Stuart Godfree, managing director at Mkodo.
The GeoLocs geolocation-verification service specializes in North America’s regulated sports-betting and igaming markets. Mkodo said in a news release that their platform was built to help igaming operators offer their services in licensed jurisdictions, ensuring that they’re providing responsible gaming to customers.
“GeoLocs has been the ideal solution for our geolocation-verification needs in Ontario,” said Andy McDowall, director at Ellipse Entertainment. “The platform’s advanced technology and expertise, tailored for igaming operators, align perfectly with our commitment to responsible gaming. Teaming up with Mkodo and their GeoLocs service allows Ellipse Entertainment to provide High Flyer Casino players with a compliant and enjoyable online gaming experience.”
