Missouri casinos report $170.9 million in revenue for April, up 1.1%

Missouri’s casinos recorded $170.9 million in revenue for April, up 1.1% year-over-year.

The Missouri Gaming Commission figures showed that slots generated $147.6 million, up 4.9%, while table games revenue fell 17.7% to $23.3 million.

Of the state’s 13 casinos, 10 recorded year-over-year increases. The biggest revenue earner was Ameristar St. Charles, with $26.1 million, followed by River City Casino St. Louis at $23.4 million, and Hollywood Casino St. Louis at $22.4 million.

The biggest year-over-year revenue rise came at Century Casino Caruthersville, which reported a 38.1% increase to $6.6 million.

Harrah’s Kansas City had the biggest decline – 29.1% to $13.3 million year-over-year. Other drops came from Bally’s Kansas City (5%) and Ameristar St. Charles (0.7%).
