Missouri’s casinos generated $183.3 million in revenue for May, up 3.2% year-over-year.
The Missouri Gaming Commission figures show that slots accounted for most of the combined revenue, recording $160.8 million, up 6.5%, while table games generated $22.4 million, down 15.2%.
Ameristar St. Charles posted the highest revenue last month, remaining stable with $27.5 million. River City and Hollywood Casino closely followed with totals of $24.7 million and $23.5 million, respectively.
Of the 13 casinos, 11 reported year-over-year revenue increases. Century Casino Cape Girardeau recorded the highest increase, rising 18% to $7.4 million. Other double-digit rises were seen at Mark Twain, up 16.2%, and Argosy Riverside, up 13.6%.
The only two casinos to record year-over-year revenue declines were Bally’s Kansas City, down 7.4% to $10.9 million, and Harrah’s Kansas City, down 3% to $16.4 million.
