Missouri casinos generated $176.8 million in revenue last month, up 5.4% year-over-year.
The Missouri Gaming Commission figures show that slots accounted for most of the combined total, recording $153.5 million, up 5.3%, while table games generated $23.2 million, up 6.7%.
Of the state’s 13 casinos, 12 posted year-over-year revenue increases. Mark Twain posted the highest revenue increase, up 12.4% to $3.3 million. Other big increases came from River City (9.5%), Harrah’s Kansas City (7.5%), Ameristar Kansas City (7%), and Argosy Riverside (6.3%).
Ameristar St. Charles posted the biggest revenue for July, generating $27.1 million. Other double-digit revenue figures included River City ($24.4 million), Hollywood Casino ($23.3 million), Ameristar Kansas City ($18.7 million), Harrah’s Kansas City ($15.6 million), Horseshoe St. Louis ($14.6 million), and Argosy Riverside ($14.5 million).
Bally’s Kansas City also posted a double-digit revenue for last month, but was the only casino to record a revenue decline. Revenue dropped 1.4% to $10.9 million.
