Gambling operator Evoke (formerly 888 Holdings) has partnered with Mindway AI, a Danish software developer of automated solutions to detect and monitor problem gambling behavior, in a partnership that will see Mindway AI’s technology integrated into the Evoke platform to enhance existing player protection measures.
Mindway AI’s software solutions utilize artificial intelligence, neuroscientific insights and expert human evaluations to proactively promote player safety. The company’s GameScanner is one of the main features to be integrated into the Evoke platform. It monitors and identifies at-risk gambling behavior patterns and allows operators to intervene before habits escalate.
“Partnering with Mindway AI will allow us to take our approach to player safety to a whole new level,” Will Mace, group director of player safety at Evoke, said in a press release. “We are totally committed to ensuring our players have a safe and enjoyable experience. Mindway AI are unequivocally experts in identifying signs of potentially harmful gambling, and by harnessing that expertise, we will be able to really enhance our commitment to our players.”
“We are beyond excited to join forces with evoke, a leading powerhouse renowned for its unwavering commitment to excellence and player satisfaction,” Rasmus Kjaergaard, Mindway AI CEO, said in a press release. “This alliance perfectly aligns with our mission to propel responsible gaming practices forward and set new standards in the industry.”
Previously known as 888 Holdings, Evoke plc was rebranded and changed to its current name upon shareholders’ approval in May. In fiscal year 2023, the company reported revenues of $2.1 billion, a 37 percent year-on-year rise, but it still posted an operating loss.
