Sixteen total spots in the race are available. Eight will be set after the open qualifier; the next eight will be named in the Last Chance Qualifier at a reception in the Venetian Ballroom. The reception, sponsored by Novomatic, begins at 4 PM. The sixteen entrants then compete in a single-elimination tournament beginning at 5. Each race is between four competitors and takes approximately six minutes to conduct.

The winner of the Las Vegas’ Fastest Gamer eSports tournament will, of course, be crowned Las Vegas’ Fastest Gamer, and will win a 64GB Razer mobile phone and a Schmidt Peterson VIP package to the 2019 Indianapolis 500. The package includes airfare, accommodations, two tickets to the pre-race Driver’s Meeting, two passes to the Indy 500 Motor Speedway Hall of Fame, and two C-stand or paddock tickets to the race. The runner-up receives a Razer mobile phone, and the third- and fourth-place finishers take home Razer apparel.

An awards ceremony honoring the top four finishers will take place at 5:30 in the Venetian Ballroom.
