Michigan: OpenBet to power Sports Illustrated’s first retail sportsbook at Island Resort & Casino

Sports Illustrated’s first retail sportsbook at Island Resort & Casino in Harris, Michigan, a partnership with 888, will be powered by OpenBet.

OpenBet Wednesday announced the deal that was reached through Sports Illustrated’s parent company, Authentic Brands Group.

“We are delighted to partner with 888 and Sports Illustrated Sportsbook to power their first-ever retail launch,” said OpenBet U.S. Vice-President Deb Krupinski in a statement. “Customers at the Island Resort & Casino in Michigan can now immerse themselves in the ultimate sports betting experience in a safe and secure environment.

“Delivering this landmark retail platform for such an iconic brand is a significant milestone for OpenBet and underscores our commitment to ensuring our partners are equipped with cutting-edge technology and unrivaled content. According to OpenBet, its retail sportsbook solutions include state-of-the-art betting counters and self-service kiosks. Customers will have a range of betting options including same-game parlays, in-game wagering, teasers, futures, and player props through OpenBet’s comprehensive Trading System.
