MGM Rewards, the loyalty program for MGM Resorts, on Tuesday introduced new benefits for members, including the debut of Milestone Rewards, which unlock more perks in between tiers, expands tier match benefits with Marriott Bonvoymand enhances benefits through Royal Caribbean.
MGM Rewards also will launch an egift card and at a credit card.
“We are elevating our rewards program and creating more ways than ever to earn and enjoy benefits across the world and at sea,” MGM Resorts Vice President of Loyalty Marketing Anil Mansukhani said in a statement. “MGM Rewards’ next evolution of enhancements unlocks new benefits for members at every tier. We listened to feedback from our members and wanted to recognize and reward guests’ advancements throughout every level which is our central focus in delivering a best-in-class loyalty experience.”
Marriott Bonvoy Tier Matching enhancements include
- MGM Rewards Pearl members will earn Marriott Bonvoy tier matching benefits, enjoying Silver Elite status.
- MGM Rewards Gold Members will have Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status.
- MGM Rewards Platinum members will continue to have their tier match benefit into Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status.
- MGM Rewards NOIR members will have tier match into Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, Marriott’s most highest tier status.
These elevated tier match benefits will provide more MGM Rewards members with additional access to perks, including priority late checkout, room upgrades and welcome gifts at more than 10,000 Marriott Bonvoy global destinations. Previously linked accounts will reflect the new tier status match automatically.
Elevated access to Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises:
- MGM Rewards Platinum and NOIR members will receive greater access to benefits for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, including upgraded stateroom types, a larger variety of itineraries and longer vacation options, redeemable through their Annual Cruise Benefit.
- The annual cruise benefit is now available for MGM Rewards Gold members.
- All MGM Rewards members will receive a new Onboard FreePlay benefit, based on MGM Rewards Tier Status, on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises voyages when sailing on a MGM Rewards loyalty offer, certificate offer, or a group cruise.
Milestone Rewards members can now earn new Milestone Rewards available between Tier Status achievements. The addition of Rollover Tier Credits allows members to accelerate their status climb by earning up to 25,000 Tier Credits tcan be carried over into the 2026 Tier Credit earning year by achieving both of these milestones:
- Earn 50,000 tier credits in 2025 and carry over 7,500 Rollover Tier Credits into 2026.
- Earn 125,000 tier credits in 2025 and carry over an additional 17,500 Rollover Tier Credits into 2026.
Members will get premium added perks when achieving each status:
- Gold: $100 Tier Celebration Credit at MGM Resorts allowing members their choice of hotel, dining, spa or entertainment experiences.
- Platinum: $200 Tier Celebration Credit at MGM Resorts and up to $600 air travel credit to fly to Las Vegas, Beau Rivage or the Borgata.
- Noir: $500 Tier Celebration Credit at MGM Resorts and up to $1,200 air travel credit to fly to Las Vegas, Beau Rivage or the Borgata.
The debut of the MGM Rewards egift card offers online access to gift experiences at MGM Resorts’ 20 destinations, including:
- Bellagio, ARIA, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas
- The Borgata in Atlantic City
- Beau Rivage in Mississippi
- MGM National Harbor in Maryland
To celebrate the launch of the eGift card, eligible MGM Rewards members will get an exclusive offer on purchases of the egift card. MGM Rewards egift card is redeemable at participating retail locations, restaurants, bars and spas at MGM Resorts’ properties. Also, the MGM Rewards egift card can be applied toward room nights for hotel stays.
This is the first phase of enhancements to MGM Rewards’ program in 2025, in advance of a new credit card coming in the near future.
