Massachusetts casino revenue was $100.2 million in April, down 1.9%

Massachusetts’ three commercial casinos recorded $100.2 million in revenue for April, down 1.9%.

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission figures show that slots accounted for most revenue, totaling $73.7 million, up 3.7%. Table games were down 14.6% to $26.5 million.

MGM Springfield and Plainridge Park each recorded a year-over-year increase of 4%. MGM increased to $24.5 million, with slots up 2.2% to $19.9 million and table games up 12.6% to $4.6 million. Plainridge, which only records slot revenue, increased to $15.7 million.

Encore Boston Harbor reported $60 million, down 5.5%. Slots were up 4.3% to $38.1 million as table games declined 18.7% to $21.9 million.
